<subfield code="a">Pouring Cup pours the contents of a measuring cup into another container (such as a cup or small bowl) when a switch is activated. A pouriAng cup promotes inclusion in pouring or sorting activities by enabling a person with limited dexterity to actively participate. It can be used in cooking, arts and crafts, or even a board game. The cup can be used for measuring out equal portions of beads, for mixing paint, pouring sugar, or rolling dice. For example, the facilitator of a project can place dice in the Pouring Cup™, then the user can depress a switch to activate the cup to dump the dice out onto a game board. The device is activated with a switch attached to the base. The switch is pressed and held down; the rotating action of the cup stops when the switch is released. Large, round button switches, such as a jelly bean, a big red or petite pillow switch may be used. These switches are used in place of more manually difficult devices, such as a conventional toggle switch or off/on switches.</subfield>
