<subfield code="a">The Language Adventure Early Childhood Curriculum is a comprehensive, spiraling curriculum of thematic units designed for use primarily with students who are deaf or hard of hearing and are developing listening and spoken language skills in preschool, preK and kindergarten levels though may be used effectively in early elementary grades too. Each unit of study has more than 300 pages of classroom activities, vocabulary and a listing of related children's literature. The curriculum provides an excellent framework for working with targeted language, especially on skills identified by the Cottage Acquisition Scales for Listening, Language and Speech (CASLLS), with students who are deaf or hard of hearing. The units build upon concepts over three years ensuring that children develop a strong conceptual framework.</subfield>
